Dr. Bridget Brunner

Originally from Parrish, Alabama, Dr. Bridget Brunner completed her undergraduate education at The University of Alabama and then completed medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She performed her residency training at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a branch of the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. She returned home and began private practice in August of 2007.

Dr. Brunner is board certified  for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. LoRissia Autery

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. LoRissia Autery completed her undergraduate education at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and then completed medical school at Howard University. She performed her residency training through Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She returned to Alabama and joined the practice in August of 2011.

Dr. Autery is board certified  for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

DR. TALIA GATES

Originally from Lafayette, LA,  Dr. Talia Gates completed undergraduate education at Samford University and then completed medical school at the University of South Alabama.  She performed her residency training at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, LA.  She joined the practice in August 2014.

  Dr. Gates is board certified for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Obstetric

We provide complete prenatal care from day one to delivery with personal attention paid to the individual needs of each mother and baby. High risk care is provided through referral to maternal-fetal medicine at UAB hospital. Preconception counseling visits are also available for women considering pregnancy.

Comprehensive gynecologic care is available from adolescence through post-menopause including:

• Annual screening

• HPV vaccination

• Hormone replacement therapy

• Contraception counseling

• Infertility evaluation and treatment

• Major gynecologic surgery

All inpatient care is provided at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama. The Walker Baptist Family Center was rennovated in 2006 and the new facility provides up to date care for mother and baby in a modern, inviting atmosphere. The Family Center includes five Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR) rooms, two operating rooms, and spacious postpartum rooms. Excellent postoperative care is also provided on this floor for gynecologic patients.
